Due to technical issues regarding the screening of 'How to Train a Dragon' we are unable to screen this tomorrow night. However, please know that we are still running Bubble Sport from 3pm and will follow with Cam's Disco. We are sorry for this inconvenience, and we are looking into rescheduling the screening for another night during the school holidays.

WERRIS CREEK POOL SET TO REOPEN

The Werris Creek Swimming Pool is expected to reopen in the middle of next week after a mechanical issue saw it closed to the public on Wednesday.

An issue with the foot valve impacted on the water quality so in the best interests of public health the Liverpool Plains Shire Council (LPSC) closed the facility until the matter was fully investigated and resolved.

Specialist divers were engaged early today to assist with the process and rectified the fault that had affected the foot valve’s functionality.

The Werris Creek Pool will be closed until suitable water quality is restored and in the meantime members of the community are urged to use the Quirindi Swimming Pool.

Werris Creek Pool will close at 5pm today. 25/02/23
