Today, we celebrate and appreciate all the volunteers who offer their help to various communities.

Ermentrude Commumity Care has been actively volunteering in Peel, and it brings us immense joy to serve and support our community through our volunteer efforts.

We also participated MFAMCI Volunteers Week Celebration and the Pride in Peel IDAHOBIT Rainbow Market Event at Greenfields Community Centre. We had a stall and were thrilled to meet representatives from various organizations, engage in numerous fun activities, distribute giveaways, and foster connections with other groups.

Today, Peel Multicultural Association commemorated Harmony Week, highlighting the richness of diverse cultures and fosteri g inclusion within diverse backgrounds.

It was a tremendous privilege to attend the Women in Leadership event hosted by our very own MLA, Robyn Clarke MLA , held at the Pinjarra Senior HighSchool Performing Arts Center. The event celebrated International Women's Day, highlighting the significance of women's leadership across various industries.

So, why do we celebrate Women's Leadership?
Women serve as a role models for future generations, breaking down barriers and social norms within the commumity through their successes. They stand firm in their beliefs, working tirelessly to achieve their goals. Women bring a fresh perspective and unwavering dedication to their pursuits, driven by passion and love for what they do. They exhibit creativity amd excel as a problem solvers, showcasing that leadership knows no gender boundaries.

The event featured three inspiring speakers who shared their personal stories of overcoming challenges, and criticism to emerge victorious. We all gained valuable insights into the struggles woman face in conforming to societal norms while balancing roles as a mother, wives, and individuals. The support provided by family, friends , and loved ones plays a cruscial role in helping individuals achieve success.

The event was a resounding success, complemented by mouth-watering food specially prepared and catered by the talented year 10 and 11 students, under the guidance of Teacher Marissa from Pinjarra Senior High School.

A heartfelt thank you to our beloved Robyn Clarke, MLA for her tireless dedication and unwavering support for our community. To her staff Lesley and Sarah for always accommodating us.

We eagerly anticipate more events that foster growth, provides education, and connect us with local people , organisations and businesses in our community.

International Womaen's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8th each year and is a goobal day celebrating the social ,economic, cultural , and political achievements of woman. It's also a day to raise awareness about gender equality and advocate for women's rights.

Over the years, International Women's Day has evolved into a global movement, with people around the workd organizing events, rallies, conferences, and other avtivities to celebrate women's achievements and promote gender equality.

It's a day to recognize the progress that has been made in advancing women's rights, while also acknowledging the work that still needs to be done to achieve full gender equality in all aspects of the society.

Today, International Women's Day serves as a reminder to create a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.
