We are delighted to announce our new U12 Bucks coach. Jack Pick.

Jack Pick has spent the best part of the last 30 years playing, coaching and watching cricket. Jack has been part of the furniture at the Stirling Cricket Club, serving as A Grade captain for the past 10 years, leading the team to two A Grade premierships and is the clubs current President. With over 7 years of experience coaching the Hills Cricket SAPSASA team, Jack has also dedicated his time to mentoring a range of junior sides at Stirling. A primary school teacher in the Adelaide Hills, Jack is passionate about developing young talent and fostering a love for the game in everyone.’

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE - JOSH LEISTER-MITCHELL

Over the last two weekends, Josh Leister-Mitchell took an incredible match figures of 12/30 against Tea Tree Gully. Josh took 6/4 in the first innings to help the U14 Whites bowl Tea Tree Gully out for 42, which we easily chased to secure first innings points.

However, Josh wasn’t done there, coming out in the second innings and taking yet another 6 wickets as Tea Tree Gully were bowled out for 94, which again we were able to chase down, securing an outright win to finish the season off.

Josh’s performances have catapulted him to 3rd in the U14 White Competition for wickets taken, with 21 wickets at an average of 6.6. despite only playing 5 matches in the grade!

Congratulations Josh. All bucks family are extremely proud of you 🦌💚

Club President Gregg Harris with a 'Michelle Pfieffer' against Callington in the last game of the season. Not only did he pick up his 5 wickets but also snared a hattrick taking 3 wickets off the last 3 balls of the innings

🏏🏏 CENTURY - DAMIN BIDDLE 🏏🏏

The impossible has happened! Damin Biddle has scored an unbeaten century tonight in Under 16's in a T20! He smashed his way to 100* from just 54 balls featuring a whopping 14 fours & 3 sixes.

This is the first ever century by a Wistow Cricket Club player in junior cricket, beating the longstanding record of 91* for highest score in juniors by an Echidna (which had stood since February 2001)!

It is also believed to be just the 4th century in junior cricket in the history of the Alexandra & Eastern Hills Cricket Association, after Mitch Weeks from Lobethal, Noah Dunn from Hahndorf & Harley Barker from Nairne!

We can't stress enough how incredibly rare and remarkable a performance from Damin this was! Fantastic work mate!!

P.S. Both the A Grade & U16's T20 sides were victorious tonight; with no cricket this weekend we'll have detailed writeups on both matches coming over the next few days.

Unfortunately we had one of our interstate girls have her entire cricket kit stolen last night from the hotel.

Here’s the contents and a few pics incase anyone is offered cheap gear or hears anything. Obviously this is extremely disappointing.
