Does your candle have an ‘ulgy’ reset? Rough and bumpy tops after burning is actually a sign that your candle is 100% soy!
Due to the nature of soy wax, it doesn’t melt evenly, leaving this ‘ulgy’ or uneven reset. Your doing nothing wrong with the care of your candle, it’s simply a sign of your candle being paraffin free!
As Paraffin is petroleum based, it contains a myriad of toxic chemicals that, when inhaled cause a myriad of health issues.
Two of the more dominant toxic chemicals being Benzene and Toluene.
These are chemicals that are known carcinogens and disrupt hormones. (So definitely don’t gift a paraffin candle to a pregnant friend or someone with an increased cancer risk!)
It’s not just to us humans, paraffin has proven to cause birth defects and cancer in your fur babies too!
Paraffin is cheap to produce and purchase. So the cheaper your candle is, the more paraffin it most likely has in it!

Non-toxic candles are a great alternative to traditional candles, and they offer a safer and healthier option for lighting and ambiance in your home.
SASKO candles are made from coconut and soy wax. Soy wax is made from soybean oil, which is a renewable resource. They burn cleanly and are free from toxins. Coconut wax is made from the oil of coconuts and are biodegradable and non-toxic. They have a slow burn, offer a beautiful scent throw, and are eco-friendly.
By choosing non-toxic candles, you can enjoy the ambiance and fragrance of candles while minimizing exposure to harmful chemicals commonly found in traditional paraffin-based candles.
