Hand Engraved vs Laser Engraved

By hand - the design is transferred onto the surface, and then a pyrography tool is used to burn the wood. It creates a blackened look, the design is not always perfect as the wood can have knots, notches or patches that burn differently. The design is absolutely unique as no two pieces of wood will burn or engrave the same

By Laser - the design is digitised and uploaded to a laser machine. The wood is placed under the laser in the correct spot, and the computer guides the laser to create the design. It is always spot on as the laser pinpoints the design to the timber. Not as unique as a custom design and is not easy to program.
