Hi, im James Ludbrook, im an Impressionist/Expressionist painter and Sculptor...obsessed with captur James.

Ive been producing art my whole life, since i could hold a pen/brush,i see everything as art, i have a phonographic memory, and i live my life as an installation. Since 1989 i have been producing music, under the banner of Damaged/Walk The Earth/Terrorust/Uncore...i was vocalist,artist,writer and lyricist, and write socio/political rants, contorted into some of the most aggressive and emotive musi

c i can,and also since around this time, used a variety of art propaganda such as posters, stencils,paste ups,sculptures and symbolism to market the music. Ive been pursuing a style of landscape painting, and deadwood sculpture part time since 2003, and fulltime,24/7 since 2008. In 2010 i took possession of 250sqm commercial building in Redfern, and proceeded to build a gallery, with 5 studios, a rad window gallery and exhibition space, because i had to, i had to live it/breathe it/ die for it. I'll possibly never open it, or lease out the spaces, im so in love with the creative aura and feeling this place gives me, i struggle to leave here, im utterly obsessed with creating art and the relentless pursuit of my style. So, hopefully soon i'll pull my head out and share the work ive done, in real life, so you can see it for yourself, this costs me an arm and a leg, but i don't give a f**k, i get by. The "Intense Seasons" collection ive been painting over the past 18 months will be on show sometime over 2012, i hope you come, and see what cant be shown in photos. Gallery gone, exploration completed....$80K, 2.5 years later, and the best time ive ever spent which most around me fail to comprehend. Now comes the hard part...selling them, so obviously i will have nothing to do with this process...i was gonna store em and keep going, but wise people know more than the luddite...ill be taking the collection down to Victoria, exhibit do all that stuff apparently. "InTENse Seasons" is FINISHED. Let the sculpting begin. EDIT!!!!!##########################
I painted a series of 12 paintings on old tin of landscapes sun derived around enfield/Berringa and wheat paddocks of no yield...fire hues and glows. I designed and plotted fashion ideas, customised and bastardized s**t and made the outline for a clothing label/jeanswear etc...screenprinting,cutting and finishing from recycled goodness...i collected clothes and shoes, and began the foundations for a new album...f**k all really, but now im about to put it all out there and go hard again, maybe this time submit, join the di*****ds and compete in the scene...

I've been painting another series...i'll get around to putting the last three years up soon, sorry i'm real bad at promotion of my art, even worse at letting go and selling em.
Ive made some very nice Deadwood functional sculptures as well.
They will be transported soon to a safe location for storage, and the 3 that i've sold will finally get their homes...sorry for the wait...

Ive been concentrating on shadow and apocalyptic landscapes...hitting on different angles of the 2011to2013
stuff...ive started to work on canvas...not too happy about it but now i can work more traditionally and replicate mental images.
Im going to start big stuff very soon again...ive painted 35 paintings in 4 months...i hope to maintain it.

Going to see if three years and 200 major pieces of Impressionist/Expressionist Landscapes and sculpture still exist on the weekend...3 years....thousands of f**king hours...non stop manic art purge.
Wish not me, but those who have wanted some, luck.
Im tossing up on what to do if where they are stored has f**ked me over.
I will possibly burn the place down.
Wish me luck for my reaction.

Iron wood base, copper,gold, 60yo barbed wire in copper and steel, bullet proof glass, and oregon stand(not here)...So, the nest goes on the base, and birdy on top with opaque globe"eggs"...orange light beam coming from under table...it's a functional sculpture...got $15k?
