Our Story
Rick Rutherford’s Country is the NEW BLOG and website of Rick Rutheford ... to be found at www.rickrutherford.com
RRC operated as the Blue Mountains’ leading country homewares store for over a decade until February 2018 when the heritage building in which the business was housed closed so that principal Rick Rutherford could finally take a long-overdue rest. Between ‘Australian Country Collections’ and ‘Rick Rutherford’s Country’ magazines which Rick headed up for over a decade, and then the RRC concept store for another decade, he had enjoyed little time off ... resulting in an undisputed need for a rest and change of direction. So during 2018 Rick wrote his second book ‘A Christmas Memory - Wroxoton Revisited’ (now available on his new website) and is now happily blogging and once again connecting with his enormous band of followers as he ruminates on the many issues of life, bringing joy and comfort to all. He is also busy working part-time as a Media Coordinator for publishing house, researching for a southern University and working to launch a serious of special RRC products and taped workshops through www.rickrutherford.com
