ABOUT HAVOK
My name is Melissa Wu and i’m the creator of Havok. I’m a 3 time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medallist in the sport of Diving.
I have been on the Australian Diving Team since I was 13 years old, so i’ve worn a lot of activewear. I know there is nothing worse than training in uncomfortable or restrictive gear. To get the most out of your training sessions you need your activewear to give you the freedom of movement your sport demands. But you also want to look good, so it’s important to me to create pieces that give you both function and fashion.
I have used premium quality fabrics that are super soft and comfortable, and teamed them with pretty prints and soft summery colours. The shorts are all squat proof and the collection is designed so that all the pieces mix and match.
In 2014 my younger sister Kirsten took her own life as a result of depression. She was just 21. My family was turned upside down and we didn’t think we could go on without her. It’s still a daily struggle, but we decided to live our lives big and do all the things Kirsten wouldn’t get to do.
