“New Reality” is an electropop and dance-pop song. The lyrics describe what a social media savvy would do to attract mass attention and achieve his fame. He immerses himself in swiping his mobile phone and watches his life through the screen. The song opens as Chai sings the chorus with the line “so I’ll just swipe my life away”. The rap and dance break highlight how the savvy indulges in social media. The song ends with the line “welcome to the new reality”.
