The Retreat Mt Cathedral
There are times when we need a chance to reconnect with nature. And the comfort and the support to make it happen.
Conceived as a place of renewal by nature, The Retreat is set in 53 acres of granite and native bushland and is located at the Mt Cathedral Range in Buxton, 90mins east of Melbourne.
Summer nights are coming…

Nature. There really is something about it. The smell of dirt. The weightless sky. The sound of wind passing through dry leaves. We need the city. But after we have tired of it’s silica and grime and shadows, we long to return to nature.
Mood. Sometimes we wait for it, run from it or put up with it. Or make it.
Part of every great get away is the chance to get completely lost. Down on the valley floor, a trail, bridge, a crossing.
The promise of spring or the arrival of spring? Both are a wonder, like planning and taking your little breakaway. When you’re ready, we’re waiting

Collective trauma is real, and could hamper Australian communities' bushfire recovery Most of us are familiar with the concept of psychological trauma. But what is collective trauma, and how can we tackle it in the wake of the bushfire crisis?
Never a good moment when you've been robbed. But when the goods were donated for community benefit, ouch, that really hurts. Can you help us get back on our feet?
