We are updating our Junior NSW State Champions Honour Board and we thought it would be a great opportunity to share this history with our members and the community. It will also assist us to ensure we havenโt missed any of our past junior NSW champions.
Our state champions board dates back to the 70s and itโs great to see so many familiar names, some of which are current nipper parents, coaches, senior Australian Champions and members of many local families who have been part of SB over the last 40 years.
Please reach out if you believe we have missed any results ๐๐

// Swansea Belmont Surf Life Saving Club regrets to advise the passing of longtime club member and one of our โOld Boysโ Neil โSammyโ Hincks.
Sammy joined Swansea Belmont in 1955 and was recognised with 50 years long service in 2005.
He was an all-round sportsman, particularly showing his athletic potential on the sand. His achievements include excelling in beach flags and other beach events winning numerous championship medals. He was a key member of the Branch Championship R & R team and played rugby league for Lakes United RLFC in the 60s and 70s.
Sammy was a dedicated club member for many decades, he played a significant role as part of our workforce during the clubโs hosting of the NSW State Championships and was a familiar presence on Sunday mornings with the Old Boys. His contribution and club spirit will be greatly missed.
Swansea Belmont SLSC extends its deepest condolences to Sammyโs family.
