Sunset ceremonies on warm summer nights 😍
What a year it has been! We feel so lucky to have played so many shows this year, in some absolutely incredible places and with such lovely and talented friends. And to top it off, almost each year the stars seem to align such that our final gig before Xmas is at our second home and with our second family, at Stones of the Yarra Valley.
To show our gratitude, we wanted to record a little something in the spirit of what Christmas is truly about - spending time and connecting with loved ones and generosity in all its forms. It’s a doo-wop song from the 1950’s called ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ by The Larks....no, not the version that’s being played on loop in your local shopping centre. We hope you enjoy this rendition we recorded a few days ago.

Hello awesome people on our socials! You may have met Alessandra on our emails - she is our wonderful admin helper. But what you may not know, is that Alessandra is also an extremely talented designer and maker. Her brand name is 'Aleda' (website www.aleda.com.au), which focusses on super high quality knits, locally made and sourced by Alessandra herself. We snapped this photo at our gig last night with the four of us wearing Aleda jumpers. They are beautifully fitted and the fine Merino feels so nice to wear. Vonnie and Steve are the managers and owners of Stones of the Yarra Valley - the most spectacular and well-run venue you could ever find.
Vonnie, Steve and the perpetually amazing team at Stones, create the most beautiful atmosphere for any event, with exceptional attention to detail and personalised service.
Stones is like our ‘home ground’ and is hands down our favourite place to play.
We wanted to record a little something special - just for Vonnie and Steve - to show our appreciation for everything they do for us and for so many others. So, when we found out that this song ‘Forever Young’ by Bob Dylan was one of their favourites (thanks Ben Frazer!), we couldn’t resist but do a rendition for them.
Honestly, there couldn’t be a more suiting song for these two. They are always energetic, kind, thorough and altruistic, whilst also always making time for the beautiful and important things in life, and we know they will always be this way 💚
We treasure our friendship of many years, and of course our ongoing professional relationship. We feel incredibly lucky to play music at the magnificent Stones of the Yarra Valley most weeks, and we’re very excited for the season ahead!

We make music for your special events, and we love to bring the party to the dancefloor!
We can expand from our standard six piece band to include a 3 piece brass section for that epic, punchy sound, and also string players such as violin and cello for that extra emotional flair.

When lockdown first lifted after many, many months apart, and many, many rescheduled weddings, we could not wait to get back into the studio together 💛
On a rainy Friday in November, we invited our extended lineup to Echidna Studio in the Yarra Valley and recorded Me & Mrs Jones with our 11 piece band!
The very unique addition of violin and cello gave an incredible depth to our cover of Me And Mrs Jones, and along with our brass players, strings can be included in your booking for that extra wow factor on your special day!

This is a rare opportunity to come see us perform in a public setting. There will be food trucks or you can BYO picnic. Our sets will bet between 1pm-3pm, and we will also be live streaming for those who cannot make it on the day!

We know that no two weddings are the same, and because we have so many talented musicians to pick from, we can tailor your ceremony music to perfectly suit your day 💞
The choice can be instrumental music, or between male and female vocals paired with either acoustic guitar or piano or ukulele and dreamy harmonies. Sometimes even the beautiful acoustic bass and saxophone can make an appearance!
We can set up anywhere with our wireless gear, so only your imagination limits how we can be a part of your special day!
