Students enjoyed their picnic with the principal. These students had their names pulled out of the power-up box at Week 8s assembly. Thanks to the tuckshop for supplying the treats.

Congratulations to the 32 students who took part in the Primary Science and Engineering Day for their 2nd place achievement! Teams completed a series of challenges centred around teamwork and problem solving, introducing them to real world science and engineering career tasks. This morning we successfully conducted a lockdown drill. These drills (evacuation and lockdown) provide our students knowledge of processes to help keep us safe at school. Great work Creekers ๐

What a wonderful afternoon for our string ensembles. Both groups (Junior and Senior) performed at Fanfare, conducted by the amazing Mrs Morris. Not only did they do themselves and our school proud, they were both awarded Gold Certificates by the adjudicator.

Last Thursday through to Sunday, Mason O represented South Coast at the State Netball Championships in Toowoomba.
He competed in 10 games over the 4 days, with Mason and his South Coast Team taking out the Bronze medal yesterday.
Such an amazing achievement for someone who only took up the sport of netball 18 months ago.
More representative honours will be coming your way very soon Mason. Congratulations! ๐๐

Under Eights Day is a Queensland-based annual event that celebrates the first eight years of children's lives, and encourages learning through play. The event is organised by the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) Queensland Committee, and has been held every year in Queensland for over 60 years.
The children at Picnic Creek certainly got into the spirit of play today!
