Whisky sources well seasoned hardwood and softwood timber from wherever it is available and uses CAMPHOR LAUREL, POPLAR, AUSTRALIAN WHITE CYPRESS, ROSEWOOD, AUSTRALIAN BLOODWOOD, HIMALAYAN CEDAR AND NEW GUINEA ROSEWOOD. JEWELLERY BOX TYPES

At present there are eleven varieties in the handcrafted jewellery box range. They are AUTUMN LEAVES, OCEAN WAVES, HEART SHAPE, TRADITIONAL, JEWELLERY TREE, AUSTRALIA SHAPE, BOOMERANG SHAPE, THE OWL, ALADDIN'S LAMP, DOLPHIN ON A WAVE and WHALES & STINGRAY. Some of these designs come in small or large sizes. SIZING

There are various sizes in the products with WIDTHS between 240mm and 475mm. The DEPTHS are between 95mm and 210mm and the HEIGHTS are between 120mm and 210mm with the JEWELLERY TREE being 410mm. THE FINISH

Each UNIQUE JEWELLERY BOX (NO TWO BOXES WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME) is handcrafted by WHISKY. Once completed each jewellery box has a minimum of six coats of natural gum turpentine and linseed oil. The product is then hand polished and buffed with beeswax and carnauba wax. This gives each jewellery box a beautiful matt finish. This finish resists fingermarks etc. You can occasionally wipe over the box with household cooking oils or linseed oil without hurting the product finish. Please note that any knots or imperfections are inherent of natural timbers and are not a fault.
