Announcements page for the local support group for members of the Australian Breastfeeding Association living in inner south-east Melbourne.

Earlier this week, we announced ABA's Community Protection for Infants and Young Children in Bushfire Emergencies Project, to ensure proper planning for young children in emergencies.
As part of the project, the Babies and Young Children in the Black Summer (BiBS) Study is being undertaken in collaboration with Western Sydney University.
This research will capture the experiences of families with children 0 to 4 years across Australia during the Black Summer Bushfires. Parents and carers of young children who were affected by the bushfires are invited to participate by completing a 30-40min survey about their experience.

New venue! From 2nd May we will be meeting every Monday 1.30-3pm in Carnegie Children's Multipurpose Centre. Drop in for breastfeeding counselling, or for your little one to play while you chat with other local breastfeeders. See you there!
