Today marks the final Artistic team member to depart Hotel Savoy. Nigel our TM who has been in Argentina for nearly three weeks supporting the Artistic team but also as the Deputy Chef de Mission for Australia has finally left the building.
Tammy, Yvonne and Carmen left a couple of days ago for a well-deserved holiday and the Peck family are still in Argentina for some training. Whilst the rest of the team are back in Australia.
Thank you to everyone in Australia who has supported all of the athletes during the Championships. The comments and encouragement that was constantly shown through the social media has been extraordinary and this encouraged our athletes immensely.
I know all coaches and skaters have grown from the experience of being back at the world championships after three years and are coming home with motivation to improve our discipline stronger than ever before.
Thank you to Nigel for a fabulous couple of weeks. You dedication to the team and to all Australian teams has been phenomenal and we thank you! Safe travels home
