The Margaret Cleves School of Dancing is a Highland Dancing School based in Mount Gambier, South Australia. N.D.A.A.
The Principal of the School, Margaret Reichelt O.A.M. is a qualified teacher and fellow of the National Dancing Association of Australia (N.D.A.A.), and an adjudicator. In the 60 years since its inception, the school has produced 27 State and National Champions. On behalf of the South Eastern National Dancing Association Inc, we would like to advise that the AGM will be held on Monday 26 August at 7pm at the OB Flat studio.
Bree travelled to Gosford this weekend to compete in the International Championships. Her results are very rewarding after just moving into the Premier section in June this year.

Last weekend was a busy weekend for our students.
Three travelled to Sydney to compete in the Australasian Championships, while several of our other students were flower girls and performing at our Dancers ball, which attracted a huge crowd !
Congratulations to Bree, gaining 3rd place in the 7-9 years Australasian championship section, and Elise finished 4th overall in the 14-15 years section, as well as placing 1st in the Restricted Premier Title.
Laura B was awarded the “Papalia” encouragement award, worth $100 in the 7-9 year championship.

Champion of Champions Melbourne 2024
Fifteen of our students are travelling to Melbourne for the Easter weekend to compete in the very prestigious Champion of Champions event.

Champion of Champions Melbourne 2024
A wonderful evening entertaining the residents at Hallmont Estate. Our students had an enjoyable time meeting everyone afterwards and telling them about our forthcoming trip to Melbourne. They are travelling to Melbourne to compete at the very prestigious Champion of Champion event at Easter.
Heywood 2024
Ten of our dancers travelled to Heywood at the weekend to compete in their first competition for the year.
The weather was ideal and the setting was great dancing under the Oak tree .
Excellent results were obtained and a great effort was put in by all.

Our 64th Annual concert and presentation of trophies entertained a large crowd, after enjoying a lovely two course dinner at the Barn Palais ⭐️
With a combination of traditional highland dances and choreography, our dancers performed beautifully and had a wonderful night.
Chief of the Mount Gambier Caledonian Society Margaret Winterfield O.A.M. presented our end of year trophies.
Principal Margaret Reichelt O.A.M congratulated examination students on their outstanding results and the many achievements throughout the year.

On Saturday we were invited to dance at the Party in the Park following the Christmas Pageant!🎄
Welcomed with beautiful weather, our students danced both traditional dances and choreography items. It's a big effort to dance on a truck but they did a great job!
