Back in 2019 came to Aust hoping to catch a Murray Cod and to try some new ideas on our fish. One of those was a prototype of the ‘Bird’. His first fish (pictured) was on the bird, multiple big boofs in the days after and then a 121cm Murray River monster all gave the bird the tick of approval.

But and wanted to get this exactly right so many more years of testing, 1000’s of hours of on-water testing and species including Large Mouth Bass, Muskie and Striped bass have resulted in ‘The Bird’ now available.

Giant on a recent trip to 🇦🇺

This fish crushed the Defiant 247 in Silver Shad. These bigger fish seem to have alot more nuance than smaller models. Lure choice is one of several changes we think make a difference.

Plenty of these guys around at the moment 🌧️

What’s everyone doing to clean their wet weather gear? I Don’t like running them through the machine very often. Wiping away dirt is fine, it’s the fish slime/smell that seems to be the hardest to get rid of.

Whilst the first was 121cm, weight unknown on a new product arriving soon from Defiant.

Defiant 247, deep down the hatch. When they are eating it good we try and avoid trebles as much as possible. The stock jig hooks make for a simple release
