First game of the season.
We had all 3 teams play at the same feild while it was ment to be at SWR we were able to still play at the macleay eagles home ground at south kempsey (we are very thankful). Dockers history was made with under 10’s playing, all their first time and Youth girls under 14’s 8 players having never played before showed up and left with smiles.
Under 12’s took on the Swoopers taking a loss but left with smilies.

How great is the AFL growth in the mid north coast.

The Under 10 fixture has had some tweaks to include a second Northern Beaches Blues team in the new age group.
This new team means the AFL North Coast Juniors have grown enormously from 31 teams in 2022 to 48 this year. This includes a large rise in the number of Youth Girls teams.

Your child/ren will need to be registered before their very first game or they cannot play.

Training is Wednesday and Friday afternoons 4.30-5.30pm at the SWR sporting fields. Come to both or just one. for further info send us a message.

We are hosting a First Nations Academy, a ten-week sporting program designed to not only increase the participation and involvement of First Nations People across the whole of game but also identify those with the physical capabilities and character to become a high-performing athlete.

AFL NSW/ACT has launched a new educational platform AFL Schools, providing teachers with a new suite of indoor and outdoor learning resources that align with the curriculum.
