I am always on a mission to find the things that make a big impact to my health and happiness. But when it all boils down, it is those repeated simple habits that have the greatest impact.
For example, I know when I repeatedly (day after day) drink enough water I feel more energetic, less bloated, less hungry and more focused.
Worth drinking enough water every day I would say.

My whole life I have been working towards the new improved me. My diet, my home, organisation, fitness, career, relationships, parenting ... always wanting to be better, smarter, thinner, wealthier, more organised.
Self improvement is my middle name and I am a self help book ju**ie!
But it has always come from a place of not enough, not skinny enough, not good enough, not rich enough, not successful enough, not smart enough ... until now.
As I get older (and wiser) I am beginning to learn to appreciate the current ME right now. I have realised by doing so, I can still work towards a better me (we are all a work in progress) but it now comes from a place of "I am enough right now". The goals I work toward give my life meaning and purpose and as I improve in any life area and expand who I am it is growth and a beautiful bonus ... but I am already enough.
Working towards a New You is a worthy goal, but lets remember to be thankful and respectful towards the current YOU in the process. After all the current YOU is as equally worthy and valuable right now.
As we start this fresh week lets give thanks for who we are right now x

But when we learn to distance ourselves from diet deprivation and instead truly nourish our bodies, relax and accept more awareness and pleasure in our lives, dessert and indeed food in general suddenly becomes something we can enjoy and savour without any regret or guilt. It's a lovely peaceful place to be x
