2024 CAMOGIE ROUND UP 💚
Our camogs missed out narrowly at a chance of taking home the double in the Championship Final, but that doesn’t take away from the unbelievable year they’ve had. From winning the Garyowen 9s back in February, to being the highlight of the Paddy’s Day parade, to showing up our ladies footballers in the Gaelic exhibition at Koroit and of course winning the League…
it’s been a successful year all around.
Outside of white lines of Gaelic park the girls showed real talent throughout the year and were often seen being put through their paces with line dancing in Fawkner Park (thanks to ) or finding their zen doing yoga (thanks to )
The club would like to thank the girls for the work they have put in on and off the pitch, your contribution to the club is invaluable. To our wonderful coaches, we’re beyond lucky to have you, and we look forward to a successful 2025.
DOUBLE CHAMPIONS 2024 💚💛
This one was a long time coming for our Senior Ladies. Having made the Championship Final five years in a row and not quite crossing the line, the fifth time was a charm ☘️ Their first time taking home both the League and Championship since 2017 💚💛
A massive shout out to the girls for their commitment and work not only this year but for the last number of years in building towards this. To the management, you already know. To everyone at the club and to all sponsors, the girls couldn’t have done it without your support. What a year!
Next up in our player profiles is Intermediate Ladies joint captain & Senior footballer, Katie Cosidine 💚✨
When she’s not causing havoc for the opposition on the pitch, Katie can be found enjoying a Jimmy’s Sunday, declaring her love for Clare or being a TikTok sensation 🎬🤣
We are very lucky to have you Katie 🫶💚
Next up in our player profiles ahead of the big weekend is Senior Men’s footballer and yes, Peter Canavan is in fact his uncle 👀
Sean has been a strong leader in the mens football team since joining the club at the end of 2019 and can be seen repping the Sinn Fein bucket hat on every possible occasion 🤝💚
Although Sean has just recently got married to the lovely he has been quoted saying that if he wins the championship this weekend, it will be the best day of the year 😍
It’s Championship finals week, so there’s no better time to meet some more of our players ahead of the big weekend! ⏳💚
Next up is dual star , who despite only joining us less than a year ago is Vice Captain of our Camogs and also plays a massive role in our senior football team!
Giving up four evenings a week isn’t an easy feat, so if you see Lauren in Gaelic Park on Sunday, make sure to buy her a drink 🤝🍻
A massive thank you to more of our incredible sponsors for their unwavering support throughout the year so far! 🤝 Your generosity drives our success on and off the field and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the year brings ⏳💚

It’s 7s week and we are delighted to officially launch our jerseys ahead of the weekend! ⏳
As a club, we worked closely with the talented Tamay Beam a Contemporary Aboriginal Artist to create something truly special for this years jersey, and we could not be more proud of the final product. Tamay is an Aboriginal Minjungbal woman from Booningbah, of the Bundjalung Nation.

✨The story behind the artwork✨
The story tells of an energy field around the people, nurturing their relationships on their journey & paths together.
The artwork’s symbolism reflects on connection, meeting places, groups, and individuals in the community coming together.
We are embedding Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander perspectives combined with Irish cultural importance through representations in the artwork colouration.
A massive thank you to for the beautiful artwork, our sponsors and .photos for the top class pics as always!
We would also like to thank our code captains/models & Megan Monaghan 😍
Bring on Sunday!!
