🌟Women's Coaching Month Spotlight 🌟
Chlo coaches the youth girls team at Central Broken Hill Football Club, who have struggled with numbers and get numbers to play each week, however Chlo works tirelessly to ensure the team get out to train and play on a Wednesday night. With only a 4 team competition, Chlo ensures no matter the outcome of a game, or the challenges a smaller team faces, she still gets the girls turning up each week to have fun and compete. Her dedication to the team also ensures the competition has a fourth club on the fixture, if not, many players would miss out playing each week.
From designing training sessions to rounding up players, organizing fundraisers and sponsorships or being a friend and a coach, Chlo balances it all well, ensuring to still prioritize her special education teaching at the local high school in a remote town in Broken Hill.
Regardless of a smaller competition, and a smaller team Chlo makes the time to do things with the girls during and after the footy season, whether it’s a dinner or lunch, or a walk and talk Chlo is always there for her team when any of them need her. Chlo has made an obvious positive impact on the young girls in the team and this can be seen when they excel on the footy field but also off the field. The youth girls team are so grateful to have you Chlo, thank you for being you ✨

Rennie has been a welcome addition to Busselton Football Club, transitioning from football from netball when the first Busselton women's side was formed. Rennie has always shown leadership qualities while competing after becoming pregnant with her first child, the club was lucky enough that she put her hand up to be the Senior Women’s Coach.
Previously being chosen to play in the South West Inaugural team and the WA Women's State team in 2021, Rennie has a wealth of knowledge and experience which is evident in her coaching style and ability.
After the birth of her daughter mid season, Rennie worked hard to get her way back into the playing group, and if juggling a new baby and training wasn’t enough, she was still committed to fulfil the Head Coach role and take her team to win the first ever Women's Premiership for Busselton Football Club! Rennie is coaching this season 2023 and her team has some young talent that she has taken on the challenge to fit into the group, with a strong team and a powerhouse coach, her side is standing a tally of 0 loses for the season 👏
Rennie has been appointed the assistant coach of the Women’s WA State team for 2023, and has continued to play on the field, while juggling her work and family life as well as being an amazing role model for young women with Football aspirations on and off the field. How lucky that the women and girls of Busselton have someone like Rennie to look up to 🙌

Charlie is the female coordinator and year 8 girls coach at Myponga Sellicks Football Club and has given blood, sweat and tears to ensure a female team was able to get off the ground. Encountering many obstacles along the way, her passion and determination came to fruition with the clubs first ever female Under 17’s and Open Women's teams this year in 2023.
With minimal resources and lack of volunteers, Charlie liaised with the league, undertook all administration, recruited players, coaches, game day volunteers, managed the guernsey design, managed all PlayHQ requirements, sought sponsorship, all whilst coaching her under 17’s team 🤯
At only 21 years of age, Charlie has made the game possible for so many women and girls in her community. The team and community could not be prouder of her and are looking forward to what the next few seasons hold ✨
Charlie means a lot to the people of Myponga-Sellicks Football Club, and her multiple nominations have absolutely spoken for themselves. Well done Charlie 👏
