HORSE UPDATE:
We have already placed some of our horses, some we will keep and if there are any others available for sale we will post on Facebook around mid June. If you are interested please keep an eye on our page for any future updates. Our horses will be great for beginner riders, confidence building and Trail riding. They will not be suitable for cow chasing, mustering or equestrian riding.

There are some changes on the horizon and we want to keep you informed.
As many would know Bestbrook has been actively on the market for the past 12 months. We have had a couple of offers but those parties were wanting to close the business and turn it into something else and after 20 years of hard work we felt that this would not be the best for us or our client base.
To help with Ray and my longevity we have had to make the decision to change our business model to reduce our work load, overheads and liability so that we can continue to provide a place for families to enjoy and create great memories.
These changes start with the sale of a piece of Bestbrook, we have put our 104 acres on the southern side of the highway on the market. Standing on the top of this property, the landscape is truly captivating, and the picture perfect sunsets are something out of a movie. A property such as this rarely comes to market and offers the buyer an opportunity to build a stunning forever retreat, the best of country living with million dollar mountain views. We will continue to provide camping and accommodation, opportunity to participate in animal feeding, butter making and damper, Billy tea, whips and boomerangs as part of your farmstay experience and will be looking to expand on our animal offering by creating an interactive space for our farmyard friends where guests can get in and pat, love and enjoy some animal therapy as well as look into some more nature based experiences too.
With the sale of our 104acres, increasing costs, pressures of insurance, compliance and the difficulty to secure long term trained staff, it is with a heavy heart that we wish to advise that the first weekend in June will by the last time you can participate in any horse riding activities at Bestbrook. This has been a part of Bestbrook since conception and has not been a decision we have made lightly. We will keep a couple of our horses as farm yard friends for pats and cuddles and allow them to live their best lives the others will be sold to families who want to give them a loving home.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause but we are looking forward to the next chapter and hope that you can help us make the transition into the next phase of Bestbrook’s story.
