When you are feeling a bit down what better way to pick yourself up than to create a cute bit of sunshine art☀️ Painted with inks for a change this time. Maybe should have gone with a thicker paper stock in hindsight but I am sure I can still make this work. Hopefully it will bring a ray of whimsical sun to my baby shower offerings very soon. ☀️ 😊 ☀️

Still very much a work in progress... but changed the flowers to poppies. Unfortunately been a busy couple of weeks but sure feels great to be able to get the paintbrushes back out and start laying some watercolour on this one. 🐴 🌺

A little more horse drawing not sure where I am heading with this one. It was inspired by Millywink but thinking about it a bit more may change up the flowers from sunflowers to poppies! As Millywink (hopefully spelt right) is a stunning war horse that has lost one eye and sadly now has cancer. Bee hunting this morning as I wanted to add a little bee 🐝 onto@my latest design. Not too many outside in this heat though. Check out the little Queensland blue bee on the pink flower. Ok I know it is small 😂 🐝

Working on a few more wildflowers this time cornflower and hartwort.
Keeping it simple but hopefully will work together nicely the sketch up the top is how I plan to put these two paintings together. Painting the items individually gives me more flexibility when it comes to placement on the final invitations and other materials. Spent the morning drawing and painting in the very accomodating orchid house at the Botanical Gardens, thank you to the wonderful staff, one member even gave me a dying flower to see the colour and structure up close. Just need to finish working the rest of this up now and hopefully it will be another wedding invitation to add to my store very soon.
