π Route 40 Update π
Great news! The roadworks on Crossβs Road have been completed. Route 40 will now return to its normal route, effective immediately.

π§ Route 40 Detour Alert! π§
Due to ongoing roadworks at the intersection of Wirilda Crescent and Cross's Road, a detour will be in place for Route 40 buses until approximately 21st October.
π What you need to know:
Buses will follow an alternate route during this period.
Stops near the affected area may not be serviced.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
From Sunday, 6 October to Sunday, 13 October, Victorian Seniors Card holders can enjoy free travel across most public transport services in Victoria! πππ
π How to Access Free Travel:
Carry your Seniors Myki and Victorian Seniors Card.
Remember to touch on and off as usual, but no fares will be deducted!
For regional services without Myki, just show your Victorian Seniors Card to the driver.
πΊοΈ Where You Can Travel:
Melbourne trains, trams, and buses.
Regional trains, coaches, and buses (including intertown and regional town services).
π Note: Free travel is for trips within Victoria only. Airport buses and privately-run services are excluded.
Effective immediately, the bus stop located opposite the Traralgon Golf Course (Morwell bound) is out of service until further notice.
Service Update: Traralgon, Moe & Trafalgar High School Contracts
We have some important updates regarding our services:
Traralgon Country Contracts: Normal service will resume this afternoon.
Hill End (Fumina): PM service for September 3rd is cancelled.
Lowanna Country Contracts: PM services are cancelled today.
September 4th: All country contracts AM services will resume as normal, with reduced runs for certain contracts.

*** School Run Cancellations for Tuesday 3rd September, AM School Runs ***
Given the current weather conditions and the forecast for continued high winds, the decision has been made in conjunction with schools to cancel all country contracted AM school services.
Here is the current status of our intertown routes:
β’ Route 1 Traralgon β Moe: Running with some delay time due to traffic lights currently out
β’ Route 5 Moe - Traralgon via Tyers: Running as scheduled.
β’ Traralgon - Boolarra Route 3/4: Partially running from Traralgon to Churchill and return (Yinnar and Boolarra not currently serviced).
β’ Traralgon South Route 6: Running as scheduled.
β’ Yarram - Traralgon: Running, but currently 20 minutes behind schedule.
β’ V/Line Sale - Traralgon: Running as scheduled

**Important Service Update**
Due to hazardous conditions caused by fallen power lines, trees, and debris on various country roads, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all school country contracts for this morning.
However, our school town run services will continue as scheduled, as well as any services along the highway.
Please note, the Yinnar to Boolarra section on Route 4 has also been cancelled due to similar issues. We are closely monitoring the situation for our Yarram service and will provide updates as they become available.
Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding. Please stay safe and informed by following our page for further updates.

***Due to repair works to the pavement at the bus stop at the Rose Garden stop on Commercial Road Morwell (services Route 21 & Route 1 Traralgon bound only)
Passengers will need to use Morwell Terminal from 22nd July with the stop reopening on 1st August*****
-Route 1 Moe to Traralgon Stop Not in Service-
Effective today the 10th of January 2024 the stop that is located in front of Quality Inn Traralgon on the corner of Coonoc Road & Princes Hwy (Stop ID 32286) will no longer be serviced until further notice. This will affect the route 1 service from Moe to Traralgon. Travellers can still board and disembark the service on the opposite side of the road when travelling from Traralgon to Moe (Stop ID 32407)

*** Traralgon Plaza Terminal will be temporarily relocated on Sunday November 26th, from 10:30am - 12:00pm for the Annual Christmas Parade. The terminal will be located on Grey Street, Opposite the ASIC building from these times. ***

Latrobe Valley Bus Lines (LVBL) is proudly part of The Dineen Group of Companies and has been serving the public transport needs of Latrobe Valley and Gippsland residents since 1948.
LVBL are currently looking for Full-Time drivers across our three depots located in Moe, Morwell and Traralgon.
About the position:
β’ Responsible for providing a quality and safe public bus service that is dependable, accessible and reliable.
β’ Drivers are expected to operate passenger route and/or school bus services in accordance to company rosters in a safe, competent, lawful and timely manner.
β’ Respond to passengers in a polite and courteous manner and handle customer queries, complaints and problems with a high degree of professionalism.
β’ Maintain clean and tidy buses, and adhere to company procedures in relation to start of shift - safety inspections and end of shift procedures.
Requirements for this position:
β’ Current full Victorian Drivers Licence (minimum endorsement of Heavy Rigid classification, non-probationary)
β’ Current Drivers Certificate of Accreditation issued from the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Victoria,
β’ Current and valid Working with Children check (employee)
Successful applicants must provide a current police check (no older than 6 months)
A sound knowledge of the bus industry would be an advantage but not essential.
