Grandad's Garden Open! Grandad's Garden, based on the book 'I grow in Grandad's Garden' has been completed and was opened on the evening Monday, May 25.

Over 2,000 primary schools in New South Wales received a promo leaflet from Live Happy Together over the last few days - responses are flowing requesting Grandparent Day presentations and book orders! We are discovering new places to go and planning New South Wales visits for 2015 and 2016. Excited.

Bookings, bookings, bookings! It's been a busy year with Brian sharing the 'Grandad's Garden' story at primary school Grandparent Days all over Queensland (and beyond!).

This is what one teacher had to say:
"Brian’s shared reading of his book had the children captivated. Actually meeting the author and hearing him read and talk about his book which had already found a connection in their hearts and had become a part of their thinking about life and relationships was such a special experience."

There are still a few dates left for this year, and we're now taking bookings for 2015. If you'd like to enquire about having Brian speak at your child's or grandchild's school, send us a message.

Such a lot of exciting and lovely things happening at the moment! One of them was finding out recently that a group of Year 12s at Caloundra City Private School used the words of Grandad’s Garden in their final speech on leaving the school last year. We love that themes of the book reach out to all ages.
