Watch out for business name renewal scams!

The scam traps people into paying 2 to 3 times the required amount to renew. The federal government's ASIC site is THE only place you should renew your business name. Ignore any emails and texts from other sources. ALSO watch out for paper "renewal" notices in the mail such as from "Registry Australia"

These scammers are taking advantage of publicly available information about you to convince you to pay them. See more at this ASIC article.
