Hand crafted small batch olive oils are grown and produced entirely on site from several varieties, each with varying flavours and degrees of fruitiness.

Have a look at all of the plump fruit that was on our trees this year!
While the trees have since been harvested, we were so happy to see what we had available.
All of our 2023 oils are now in tank, settling, and will be ready to be bottled later in the year.

Last weekend to visit the Lighthouse Olive Oil shop........
This Sunday is Rosie's last day with Lighthouse Olive Oil.
At 4pm on Sunday, when Rosie is finished, we will close the doors on having a shop for a while, because it's just not the same without her.

Changes are ahead for the Lighthouse Olive Oil Shop...........
At the end of the month, we will sadly say goodbye to our much loved, resident olive expert Rosie, who has decided it is time to put her feet up (well deservedly).
Rosie has been with Lighthouse for many, many years, since it started, knows ALLLLL the regulars, has been a huge part of the farm and the processing, and has a really impressive knowledge of the industry.
Without Rosie, the shop would just not be the same, so we have decided to close the doors for a bit once she finishes up. We will miss her terribly!
Please head into the shop to see her before she finishes on 2 July and wish her all the best (or leave a message here, we will make sure she sees it!).
We are still producing our extra virgin olive oils. They are available at the Oakdene Cellar Door, along with some amazing local retailers across Geelong and the Bellarine.

At Lighthouse, we have selected a few single varietal oils to bottle, from fruits varying in degree of intensity.
Barnea is an Israeli variety that has a soft buttery character with notes of cut grass and a deferred hit of pepper. Perfect for dipping and salads, but also delicious drizzled over cooked meats.
If you need help choosing a great , or wanrt to learn more about our varieties, the Lighthouse shop is open all weekend from 11am - 4pm.

Two of our most popular varieties!
The Frantoio is a Tuscan variety which produces a smooth, fruity oil with delicate aromas and a mild pepper the palate. Delicious drizzled over cooked meats.
Our citrus range is made with whole fruit, so the lemon go into the press with the olives to give a really zesty citrus flavour.

Harvest time here at Lighthouse!
Most of our olives have been picked and pressed for the 2021 harvest, with a bumper crop giving us the most beautiful extra virgin olive oils!
These olives went from basket to press within hours of being picked. It’s how we keep the fresh and vibrant flavours. We’ve also picked, and hand sorted our kalamata’s for our pickled olives!
Our 2021 oils are going to be magnificent.

Located in the heart of the Bellarine, Lighthouse extra virgin olive oil is locally grown, processed and produced on site.
Lighthouse Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a multi-award winning olive oil, grown and cold pressed on the Bellarine Peninsula. The property is situated overlooking Swan Bay and Queencliff and has 6,000 trees grown on 165 acres.
Our range includes many varieties of extra virgin olive oils ranging from mild to intense robust flavours. We also make 3 varieties of citrus oils, Lemon, Lime and Ruby Grapefruit. We quarter the citrus fruit and place this fruit in the press with the olives at the same time to create a zesty citrus flavour oil. These oils are great to take on a picnic and dress up your salads.
