If you are a current university student studying speech pathology we would love to meet you! We are currently seeking student volunteers to assist with our Kindergarten Screening Project, during the first two weeks of February, at the public schools in the Cessnock Region. You will work alongside the speech pathologists and will be fully supported and supervised.

After great success last school holidays Aspire Speech Pathology is pleased to again offer individual intensive holiday programs.
These sessions will be specifically designed to accelerate achieving priority therapy goals as well as being a whole lot of fun!

THIS OFFER IS FOR EXISTING AND NEW CLIENTS!

PRICING - Book FOUR OR MORE sessions and receive a discount of $20 per session.
This accumulative discount will be applied to the fourth session and subsequent sessions of the school holiday program.
e.g., $80 discount applied to the 4th session, $20 discount applied to the 5th session.

We can offer these sessions at one of our clinic locations, at your home or via telehealth.

These sessions are well suited to:
• children on the waitlist for regular therapy sessions
• children who would benefit from extra help to reach a goal
• children who would benefit from 1:1 support to achieve their goal rather than a group environment
• families who are busy during term time after school and would prefer their child not to miss school

📣📣📣 We have availability for volunteering opportunities at our preschool, primary school and high school speech pathology programs.
If you are in your first, second, third or final year of speech pathology studies, we'd love to meet you!
We appreciate as much or as little time that you are able to offer!
When volunteering at Aspire you can expect a very supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to observe our speechies administering assessments and delivering high quality therapy to individual clients and to small groups, meeting their speech, language and literacy goals.
And when you feel ready and comfortable you will have the opportunity to jump right in, under the guidance of our talented and knowledgeable speech pathologists, gaining hands on experience to further develop your clinical skills.

April is Autism Awareness Month! This month is about raising awareness, acceptance and inclusion surrounding autism. More than 205,000 Australians are autistic and 1 in 4 Australians have a family member on the autism spectrum.

At Aspire Speech Pathology, our vision is to help our clients achieve their communication goals so that every individual on the autism spectrum can live the life they choose in an inclusive society. Throughout April, we will share resources, facts and tips, building awareness and celebrating our incredible diverse community.

While these things are important all year round, April is an opportunity to further spread the message and pledge our support to make a world of difference by helping all people with autism reach their full potential.

We have moved into our new clinic room at the RIP IT UP Reading Clinic and we have loved meeting our new clients and families! We still have some spots available if you would like to make a booking.

We have two fabulous speechies joining our team! Which means our books are open again and we are taking new clients in the Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Branxton and Singleton areas!
We also have plenty of availability for our SPIRAL (Speech Pathology in Rural Area Locations) Telehealth program!
