Uniquely Australian
The Timber Design Co is based in East Gippsland where we design and handcraft timber clutch purses. We are passionate about the environment and the impact we have on it and for this reason we have chosen to work only with Australian made or grown and sustainable products where possible in the manufacture of the purses. We use timber sourced from around Australia such as Queensland Walnut, Western Australian Jarrah, Tasmanian Golden Sassafras and Victorian Eucalyptus. The timbers are pressed into a laminate using formaldehyde free glue and we finish the bags with a plant based stain and present them in cotton keep bags inside Australian made gift boxes which are recyclable. We are currently working our website which we hope to launch in the new year, please follow our page for updates, thank-you, J.T
