Wild Seedlings
We aim to bring more Australian children outside in nature, through play spaces design, loose parts play, forest school training and permaculture.
I saw Jane Goodall speak in Sydney years ago and felt so lucky to be in the same space as such and inspiring women. One person can do so much for nature and a species. It all started with her climbing trees and imagining she was Tarzan.

By far my favourite time of year! đ
âOur version of cherry blossom seasonâ: where to find the best jacaranda blooms in Sydney Sydneyâs love affair with the yearly purple reign of Jacaranda mimosifolia puts the city into a photogenic flower frenzy.

What a wonderful example of retrofitting a Bowling Green to a community garden. We need more of these in our urban centres especially for human and nature connectivity and environmental education. So much can be learnt at this space. Well done Willoughby City Council, I look forward to seeing the next one.

âAs a small child, Thai told his parents that he was going to grow up and save pangolins,â
This is the story of one boy, who through his connection with Nature grew up wanting to save an entire species. Never under estimate the powerful moments children have with nature. So inspiring.

Great to see that alternatives are being explored for children's lunches. Better for the planet, the parents, the staff and the kids!!
War would have been a wonder to children in Australia. They would have experienced loss, adaptability, adventure, sacrifice and lots and lots of courage. When asked of them children can be incredibly strong and make us so proud. Just like all our ANZAC's. We will remember them.
"Members of the Australian Women's Army Service (AWAS) give "eyes right" as they pass the saluting base during the Service Womens march through the city. In the foreground a small girl with an Australian flag over her shoulder watches the march."

Another year and another Earth Day!
Yet shouldn't every day be Earth Day? Shouldn't every day on earth be cherished, with the soil, the plants, the water, animals and pollinators revered for the way they feed us, shelter us and create life.
Let us use today and everyday to pass on our appreciation for mother earth to all children.
I am a bit obsessed with frog ponds and pond conversions. This one is amazing.
My Daughter and I saw a tiny frog on bush walk in Lane Cove yesterday and as its tiny body bounced passed I was reminded so much of their fragility and the importance of their protection.
Love to the frogs! đ¸â¤ď¸
