Amateur father and son Motorsport team building a Speedcar in Tasmania. Car is a 2013 Spike powered 166ci Fontana
Boy do I miss this adrenaline rush and I am only the dad watching on.
If all goes well the T91 will return to the track this coming season and to be honest I cannot wait. My dream is to still see a full time club in Tasmania but unfortunately only numbers will do this and we are so close to having these numbers. Carrick speedway has always been a great supporter of the division so that is a great start more cars are needed.
Saying this if this does not happen we will be shipping the car to Victoria to race it there.

Having some time to reflect post state title has our whole team incredibly humbled.
After our driver suffered an injury prior to the season, we approached Brad Whitchurch to take the reins.
It was so fulfilling to witness how well he treated our equipment, winning a state title was just the cherry on top and we can’t thank him enough.
A massive shout out to all of our partners and supporters that help our small operation run, it makes having this much fun possible 🏁

DEBUTANTS GALORE AS 2022-23 SPEEDCAR SEASON KICKS OFF AT CARRICK
An even mix of fresh faces and experience will greet the green flag for this first time this season at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway this Friday night.
Former Tasmanian Champions, Luke Redpath & Mitchell "Fred" Freeman headline the entry list for this weekend's season opener.
Luke & Alastair Freeman will look to build on their continual progress to challenge for a win to kick the season off on the right foot.
Injury to Brock Webster has opened the door for Wingless Sprint driver Brad Whitchurch to make his Speedcar Debut in the always competitive T91.
Whitchurch isn't the only driver to swap a Wingless Sprint for a Speedcar, with Wade Lello also strapping in a second Luke Freeman owned car for his first event after a strong start to his regular season, including a feature win at the venue.
Street Stock front runner Ben Riley will run double duty as he takes the wheel of the Rod Jones owned T32, while Jacob Lynd jumps in the deep end in Paul Charlesworth's T39 Aggressor.
All drivers will complete 2 Heat Races prior to the winner takes all Feature.

After the misgivings of the little Fontana dropping something she should not have for the running of the Tasmanian title. We are happy to say that little Fontana is on her way back to good health. She has received lots of attention and aid,. She has been loved and caressed by several sets of hands,so let's hope she will be very happy with here transplants.

Sorry for no posts the team have been very busy, After the disappointing end to our Tasmanian title bid last Saturday. The team is powering ahead with a full freshen of the little T91 Fontana motor. Minimal damage has happened internally and the motor will be ready for the the next run at Latrobe speedway.
