Congratulations to our wonderful UK client who has recently settled into their new apartment in the fashionable West Melbourne area. We are delighted and honored to have been involved in the entire process, from assisting with furniture sourcing to furnishing and decorating the space in preparation for their move-in. The most heartwarming moment was when, upon handing over the apartment this afternoon, the client exclaimed, "Finally, it feels like a home away from home!" Their heartfelt appreciation, expressed through a warm embrace, truly made our efforts all the more meaningful.

It’s all coming together.

The rustic and open space interior design of this Cafe in Eltham creates a charming and inviting atmosphere.

The one bedroom we staged in Carnegie, Melbourne is on the market. Carnegie has changed tremendously since I lived there as a teen in the late 1980s with many trendy cafes and authentic Asian restaurants along the Koornang Road shopping strip. Working on this project brought back a lot of fond yet poignant memories of what it was like to be a migrant in a new country.

What has also changed is Carnegie’s character-filled, art-deco and Edwardian streetscapes are also undergoing a transformation, with large-scale apartment blocks and developments popping up on every other corner.

As we took a long walk down the street where we used live after the staging, I vividly remember the after school and weekend walks around the neighbourhood admiring the period homes… and the big crush I had on the Family Doctor’s son whose medical clinic is still there. Something has not changed!

Life of a property stylist isn’t just about curating show homes and aesthetics. It really is more about creating the feel like home aspiration.
