New Year or puthandu is the first day of the year in Tamil calendar and auspiciously marks the first day of the chithirai (Tamil calendar equivalent of January)

This is a special festival which brings loads of childhood memories of yummy delicious and healthy food prepared for just this day. Feast prepared on this day contains sweet , sour, and even bitter dishes like vepampoo pachadi, which in turn conveys the message that life is also like the feast. Sometimes it's sweet, and at times, it bitter.. but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

What an eventful week it was😌

On a sunny Saturday morning we headed to the couple's home to add more sparkle to their wedding celebrations .. A few hours of hardwork transformed their homes to magical venue for the most important day of their life. I will let the photos do the talking 🙂
