This is not Parc Ferme' at Hattah... This is the bikes of riders who attended the annual Ridgecrest moto camp a few weeks ago.
Dipping my toe back into bike coaching after 2years was exciting and nerve racking.. with my side kick Tobes with me ( he got his first taste of 90s MX and now looking for a 125 🤣👍) we had a great weekend . It's amazing to think we started this event 8years ago with only 16 riders... I love this weekend great venue, fantastic people and a spiritual boost every year... It's a long way off but I'm already excited for next year..

The more I learn, the more I understand and the more I can help or assist. This week's learning is Mental Health First Aid with Donna Thistlethwaite ... Intense couple of days but very worthwhile.

8 years ago & offered me the most amazing opportunity to assist at the University.. along side and ... 20years of coaching and this was up there with the best of experiences.... A bit over 12 months ago we (family) made a decision to move away from most of what we know for a fresh start..
Majority of you will also know part of that decision was to walk away from our coaching business of 20 years..
I wanted to spend my weekends being a moto DAD to Toby, not everyone else's kids, like I had for his whole life... It wasn't easy!!! We had incredible partners who supported the business with more than I could ever have wished for, but I couldn't keep my commitment to them and focus all my attention on Tobes, and give him the opportunity he deserves before he gets too old to spend time with his old man....
Well I can say this without any regret! Best decision I could have made, beyond the great time together travelling to ride parks, he's effort and improvement have left me thrilled and proud.. although it seems longer we've only been in our new home together 12 weeks. And in 12 weeks I am beyond excited for his improvement...

While out doing some training at , these three young guys came and asked Toby for some advice and help with jumping.. he saw two of the riders didn't have gloves. "Don't you guys have gloves ?" No! ...
"Come to my car and I'll give you some, it's Gunna hurt if you crash, and put your hands out to save yourself"
So he took them to our car and gave them both a set of gloves...
And went back out and helped them with their riding... They were soooo stoked and then hung off every word he said.

Then it was off to the closest dealer where he spent his own money replacing his gloves...

Such a good heart this kid.

Last night with Box N Burn / ...
What a journey its been. What started as an attempt to loose some weight, turned into friendships inspiration and camaraderie that will stay with me forever... from me being slowest and most unfit when it started in 2017 to winning the "Gino award" to becoming a trainer, 4 fight team camps cornering for fighters on fight nights, meeting boxing world champions and legends and training with the "wildthing" as she prepared for world championship bouts...
It been a ride...
I can't thank everybody... or thankyou all enough, but to my trainers Chris Hoogenboom , Sherri Cocksedge , Jerry Shorey-corrigan and Lauren Smith .. thankyou for the motivation and encouragement...
To Norm Pearson .thanyou you for and changing my mindset and self confidence... and Finally to Mark Hardman ... word cannot explain the gratitude for the support encouragement and opportunity you have given me... im fore ever in debt and won't forget ... 🙏

6pm friday class is getting bigger every week.... so good to see people getting back to training (especially in this heat) after the disruptions of covid floods and holidays.. 'n'it..

3/6 riiders from in 🙌 one wise man said eat pasta ride faster.... another wise man said "wear O"NEAL ride unreal" 🤣🤣🤣

Just devastated about cancelling yet another coach day😪... im so disappointed, between 2 years of covid and another 2 years of rain its been tough going..... we have cancelled more events in the last 2 year than the 20yrs prior....sorry to all that had booked and were excited ...

If youre in Regional.Australia and in severe drought .... call me and book a coaching day at tour local club/ttack...

This is tough for riders and families... the final.round of these great series on the same weekend... weather has been so difficult to work around this year.... iys a shame.both dirtX and amcross wont get the opportunity to have all eligible riders at there final.round....
