Entity Data is pleased to advise that we will add 5Gbps of Optus transit to our Brisbane Data Centre from the 15th of May; which is when provisioning is expected to be completed. This additional transit compliments our existing primary transit via Vocus. This upgrade to the network will improve performance and increase redundancy and failover capability while also improving our ability to mitigate denial of service attacks on the network.

We wish to reassure customers that Entity Data's Brisbane data centre located in the Brisbane Technology Park has not been affected by the floods in Brisbane, nor is the facility at risk of flooding. While there has been the potential for mains power loss, this would trigger an automatic failover to onsite power generation. No service interruptions are anticipated.
