Sundays Grand final between Western District Warriors and The Easten Eels is set to be a great contest, With Warriors finishing minor premiers they head in as favourites to see if they can create NRLSA history and become the first team to win Five in a row.

The battle hardened Eels, who finished the minor rounds in strong form, will have plenty to say about that as they look to win their first Premiership since 2018.

Hey down to Eyre sports park this Sunday with Juniors starting at 8;30 and games all the way through until the 3:00pm kick off for the Men’s Grand Final.

Please be advised, there will be a limited canteen at the Junior central venue today at Hanson Reserve.
Adelaide Hills Tigers will be running a small BBQ!!!

In the Qualifying Final
Minor premiers Western District Warriors square off against Adelaide Plains with the winner booking a spot in the Grand final in two weeks,

While at Hanson Reserve
Juniors kick off the day at 8.30am with a full day of Rugby League leading into the Elimination final where we will see third place MEC swans up against the fast finishing Eastern Eels who finished the mini or rounds in fourth place.

Men’s state Team Manager!!!! (No experience needed)

Under 17s Boys Team Manager!!!! ( no experience needed, must have current WWCC)

Under 17s Boys, sports Trainer(must have current level 1 Accreditation and current WWCC)

A big Round of Rugby League this weekend NRLSA Metro Round 9 kicks off Friday night at Eyre Sports park and continues with games on Sunday at Hanson Reserve and Gleneagles for the Junior central venue.

Please note, U14s and U16s Boys will play on Field 3.

All players are asked to assemble at NRLSA Offices on Monday, 22nd of July at 7:00pm.

The squad will come together in preparation for the CAS championships in Melbourne in late September!!!

As Melbourne prepare for the event that is State of Origin, we want to take time to wish two of our very own league Comunity all the best as they take part in the curtain raiser at the MCG tonight.

Lyric Smith, was one of Two players selected for the Combined affiliated states (CAS) Academy in 2024.

Through that opportunity and hard work, Lyric was selected in the top 40 U18s players from SA, VIC, NT and WA to play in the CAS possibles probables!!!! Tonight while playing on the big stage he can be selected for the CAS team to go to the Australian school Boys nationals later this year.

Accompanying him is one of our up and coming Coaches, Luke White (stretch) who will be in an assistant Coaching role tonight, Stretch has worked through the RISE coach development program over the last three years to earn his opportunity.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Game Development Officer to join the South Australian NRL team in 2024 on a casual basis.

The successful candidate for this role will be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about Rugby League. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives. This person will represent and share the NRL’s beliefs that we are United, Positive, Inclusive and Disciplined.

This role will require candidates to aid in the delivery of participation and engagement programs with a focus on gala days through tackle and tag formats.
Applicants suitable for this role will be required to have:
- Highly effective communication and relationship building skills
- Flexible schedule
- Drivers’ Licence
- Current Working with Children credentials for paid work and proven experience working with children

Ideally, but not required, you will also have experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Junior Rugby League coaching
- Sports trainer/LeagueSafe accreditations
- Referee

Round 5 💥

So far it has been a great start to the season with junior growth seen across most clubs.

This weekend we head into NRLSA Values Round, as you know NRLSA put a focus on the way we play our great game and making sure that all junior participants enjoy their Rugby League experience! With juniors playing each other most or every 2nd weekend, Values Round gives NRLSA a great opportunity to shine the spotlight on how we want Rugby League to be participated in.

The Values Round will include awards catered to Inclusiveness, Respect, Inspiration and Fair Play. 🙂
