Raggy Dogs’ have been sharing their love of Cavoodles, Groodles and poodle mixes for almost a decade. 30+ years of experience with dogs. Certified dog trainer, feeder of raw foods, guardian home opportunities and occasionally we have Raggy puppies or trained dogs available.

He is a purebred Poodle weighing 5.8kg. Along with bringing in new genetics, he is also double furnished and doesn’t carry any shedding genes, meaning all of his puppies will have a teddy bear coat.
DNA tested (Embark, USA) and PennHip scored, no signs of Hip Dysplasia and better than breed average results.
We're so excited to meet Zanzi and Cino's puppies early June 2024 and sharing their journey from birth to 8 weeks of age with you all.

Zanzi is fleece coated, the daughter of our stunning and calm blue merle first generation Bordoodle ‘Harmaa’. Her dad is our homebred F1b Cavoodle Stud ‘Saffron’, whose parents are Piccolo (Toy Poodle) and Manuka (First Generation Cavoodle). She is one of our precious guardian home girls, her family includes a 3 year old and a newborn baby - she loves her little people. 🌟Hello, it's been a while between posts but we have some exciting news to share! After a 2 year break from breeding, during which we added another little human to the pack - we're finally expecting some mini size (6-11kg) puppies in early June 2024! Puppies will be non-shedding and we're expecting fleece and wool teddy bear coats. The mum to be is our guardian girl 'Zanzi' and the dad to be is our handsome chocolate and white parti stud 'Cino'. 🥰
We'll share more details over the coming days but you can also get to know Zanzi and Cino on our website:

A little snippet from our puppy training session today with our last two puppies. We worked on building the foundations of boundary training. Boundary training has many benefits but the most significant being developing calmness and independence. By building value for the bed or crate, the puppy quickly starts to reliably offer the behaviour and we can then start to add in a cue which could be "bed" or something similar that you can use when you want the dog to go to their bed.
Puppy dog eyes are strong in this one 🥰 - Mr Yellow is expected to mature to around 9kg. He has a non-shedding silky fleece ruby red teddy bear coat and he has mastered going through the doggy door and finding treats in the ball pit. He loves tummy rubs and he is our 3 year old son's favourite puppy in the litter so he's had lots of cuddles and loves human affection.

Missing our puppies with many going to their new homes over the weekend.
I thought I’d share a video I took last week of our puppy sleeping area and bedtime routine.
I’m always working to ensure our puppies are exposed to environmental enrichment in their days and nights from about 3 weeks of age. In this video I discuss how I use stuffed Kongs, food puzzles and snuffle mats to develop our pups’ tolerance to frustration - an important life skill. Environmental enrichment involves providing physical and social activities for our dogs and puppies that encourage them to use their brain and might involve sniffing, digging, scratching, licking, balancing, training sessions etc. Brains in richer, more stimulating environments have higher rates of synaptogenesis and more complex dendrite arbors, leading to increased brain activity.
Miss Red - also known as Miss Charisma. The puppies are being groomed today, their little windscreen wipers are getting long around their eyes 👀
Crate training is going well - our puppies start spending alone time in a crate from the time they turn 6 weeks old. Brief periods of 20 minutes while I’m working at my desk or preparing food in the kitchen. This teaches our puppies that our presence doesn’t mean they always have access to us and sets them up for a life where they’ll be comfortable being independent of their owners (if they keep up this training) and reducing the likelihood of them suffering from separation anxiety related behaviours. From 3 weeks of age we have open crates in their sleeping area and outdoor areas (once they’re outside) and hide tasty treats inside and during training sessions they get rewarded for showing an interest in the crate. Lots of positive experiences is what it’s all about.
A video from when our mini doodle puppies were 6 weeks old - Mr Silver having his weekly grooming session. We get our puppies accustomed to grooming from the time they’re just one week old with weekly nail trims. By the time they’re 3 weeks old we start trimming around their bottoms, then their feet, cleaning ears, brushing, comb, the sound of clippers etc so by the time they leave us from 8 weeks of age, they’ve had lots of positive, calm exposures to being groomed. After-all, it’s going to be a big part of their lives so we went it to be as stress-free as possible!
We have puppies! We have a litter of mini doodles that were born March 2022. There are boys and girls with non-shedding fleece and wool coats. The puppies will mature to be between 7 and 14kg making them robust, miniature sized dogs that can also go for a jog and make great pets for families with children.

Mum - Hunaja (Cavoodle cross Bordoodle) 14kg
Dad - Astro (Purbered Toy poodle) 3.7kg
Our beautiful toy cavoodle babies ❤
Mama Bear 🥰 I could gaze into these eyes all day. Hunaja loves all the pats and if you're sitting down, she'll nuzzle her nose in under your arm for a snuggle. She still manages to be beautiful, despite lockdown buzz cut. Super intelligent, calm when she needs to be and up for a game of fetch whenever you are. She has a soft, fleece coat that is non-shedding. Yes, that's one of her puppies tugging on her tail in the first pic.

Introducing Miss Red - always by your side! She has a beautiful ruby red curly coat. Loves tummy rubs and snuggles.
Introducing Mr Light Blue - our see-saw and wobbly bridge star! One of our bigger boys and he has a fleece coat with white chest. Super cuddly, very clever and intuitive.
