Yoga for Pain Care - Back Pain.
Constructive Chair Pose
💫 Lying with your lower legs & feet on a chair.
💫 Your intension is to create a release of pressure in your lower back.
💫 When you lye in this position with your knees over your hips you allow your big hip flexor muscle Iliopsoas to soften & relax.
💫 The upright position of chair sitting means your psoas muscle is constantly engaged just to be upright.
💫 Lying with your legs on a chair means you have the assistance of gravity & the muscles are able to let go, soften & relax.
💫 Additionally, add an eye pillow over your eyes & chill out.
💫 Feel supported by the earth in this position.
