Hi all. We are getting 10-20 messages/calls a day in regards to schooling the xc. Bookings for this are managed through the hunt club on nominate. While this is normal process the grounds are unsafe to ride on due to the cows pugging and over use during the wet season…
The pony club is doing all they can to keep the jumps safe but have no control over the condition of the ground. We as the pony club are unable to use it at the moment and are hoping we can work with the hunt club to fix it as soon as possible so our members and the community can use the grounds again
In the mean time please don’t use the grounds x

Due to the grounds being so unusable we have also decided to cancel our horse trials. We would like to thank everyone for their support and we hope to see you out there very soon

Our LMPC members did us proud at Werribee Pony Club Horse Trials this weekend. Supported each other through the highs and the lows all weekend. Well done to all of you on a fantastic weekend.

A massive thank you to Jarryd Stanley for walking the XC with our girls, they absolutely loved it and got so much out of it to help them through their XC phase.

Congratulations Werribee Pony Club on running such an awesome calm event. It was so good to be back.

A life with horses really does start at pony club!

Lilydale & Mooroolbark Pony Club 2021 member Lilly Trevorrow is living proof of just this. Lilly has spent the last 7 months travelling across America with 3-time Australian Olympic Show Jumper Matt Williams and his incredible team of horses as Matt's groom. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for Lilly.

Matt has been selected to represent Australia in the CSIO5* Nations Cup event which starts today in Canada. Matt has 3 top Grand-prix horses to compete on at this event before travelling to compete at Spruce Meadows later in June. Pony Club Victoria wishes the team all the best of luck.

Love our new logs thank you Yarra Ranges Council

🐴 The Lilydale and Mooroolbark Pony Club, located in Yering is jumping for joy after receiving 15 logs donated by Council that were collected following last year's June storm.

👷‍♂️ These logs will be used by the club as equestrian obstacles and have been set up as jumps by a professional course builder.

🌲 We've been working with the community to find ways to use logs that are too big for milling to provide benefit to the community.

🔨 While the loss of trees caused by the storm has been tragic, we're glad to be able to work with community groups like the Pony Club to find ways to repurpose and reuse these logs.

What an amazing day we had yesterday at the 2022 Saddle Up Lilydale and Mooroolbark Horse Trials. That breeze was amazing in the warm sun. We hope you all had the most amazing day and are now well rested. We love feedback it helps us prepare for next year and all future events.
