Fairytale Gypsy Cobs handpicked worldwide. Home to Supreme Champions & Producers. Pioneering the breed with the first roan Gypsies to Oz & more. We love them!
Welcome to the home of The High Street Gypsy Horses. High Street Gypsy Cobs is located in the Northern Rivers of NSW outside the Ballina Shire. Home to top shelf horses homebred & from around the world. The Gypsy Horse is still a rare breed in Australia & High Street have brought over 25 Imports to Australia in the first few years of inception. These magnificent horses were bred by the Romani Trav
ellers to pull their Vardos or Living Wagons around the countryside & used as a work horse as well as a trusted family companion. Their breathtaking beauty is matched by their calm, gentle, loving & curious natures and incredible performance versatility. Non horse folk fall in love with this very special breed, and horse lovers have been known to develop an absolute obsession. At High Street Gypsy Cobs, we are an exclusive stud, and family run business. We are hands on with each of our horses, who are handled from birth, and attended to daily unlike the large, commercial scale stud farms. This hands on approach is reflected in the temperaments of our horses who are curious, intelligent, willing, affectionate, and well mannered, a perfect compliment companion to our family. High Street Gypsy Cobs Australia offer you phenomenal imported Gypsy Stallions from world renown & champion bloodlines. Home to QLD Champion Pinto Stallion, Supreme Champion Gypsy Cob of The Gold Coast Show 2012, the world famous Lioness. We have a select number of Gypsy Cobs for sale to the discerning breeder, families, enthusiasts, show & competition homes.
*TESTIMONIALS*
We were fortunate enough to identify High Street for our first face-to-face experience of Gypsy Cobs, having spent many months reading up about the breed and becoming more and more convinced that this could be the breed for us. The Cobs at High Street did not disappoint – in fact, they exceeded our expectations. Talitha was enormously generous of her time and knowledge, showing us everything in her stud and answering an endless stream of questions with honesty and openness. Her dedication to and passion for the breed shines through, and is infectious! High Street’s emotional and financial investment in securing the best of the best to breed from is very clear, and the outstanding quality of the horses quite obvious even to the inexperienced. The Cobs are everything we have read about, their sweet nature and extremely friendly temperaments being totally endearing! Thank you Talitha for such a lovely visit – you clearly have the breed’s best interests at heart. Lesley and Bob, Yass, NSW
I purchased my beautiful Clononeen Butterscotch from Talitha at High Street Gypsy Cobs sight unseen. We chatted many times and had lots of back and forth emails and I felt truly kept in the loop the entire way. Butterscotch arrived in excellent condition and was more beautiful than I could of imagined. Her level of training was exactly as described and her gorgeous temperament was just like Talitha described. All my questions both before and after the sale were ansswered quickly and honestly and I am delighted with my stunning big girl. I feel so very lucky to have such an incredible mare and am thankful for Talitha for allowing me to purchase her. Cheers, Bree. Goldengate Gypsy Cobs
My partner and I had the most wonderful experience when we decided to purchase Clononeen Aglish from High Street Gypsy Cobs. Being our first Gypsy Cob purchase, and given the distance between our home and most of the Australian studs around, we were quite nervous at the idea of finding a suitable breeding age mare. All of our fears were laid to rest though when we found Talitha and Shey and their wonderful stud. Right from the word go, Talitha was friendly, approachable and open about her horses. She helped us find the very best match for our needs and goals and provided many additional up to date videos and photographs of the horses we were interested in. She openly encouraged vet checks, visiting the horses we were interested in and was very flexible when it came to breeding our chosen mare to GP The Painted Warrior. While Aglish was at High Street, we were constantly updated with photos, information and vet reports on the progression of her pregnancy. I did not worry once about the condition of our mare while she was with High Street. It was the most stress free horse purchase I have ever been apart of, and I strongly recommend High Street to anyone that is searching for a reputable breeder that will go above and beyond to fulfil all your requirements and give you as many updates as you want or need. We love High Street! Caitlin McIntyre and Daniel Twist
I had the pleasure of meeting Talitha and her beautiful Gypsys this weekend, and all I can say is wow wow wow wow! All the boys were absolute gems to handle and be around, top mares and this means naturally the babies were just gorgeous. I had the pleasure of riding Warrior which has to be the HIGHLIGHT of my riding career, mares in the paddock we rode in and he didn’t even batter an eyelid once he knew the job he was on! Cant get the trip out of my head, shown such hospitality and such a top notch quality of horse. So just thought id let you know (again), Thanks Talitha, I will be back! Jade, Vic. Just wanted to write a thank you to the High Street team. We recently visited for the weekend & were welcomed with open arms. No request was too small & we were looked after that well we didn’t want to leave! The horses are fantastic, phenomenal quality & all in fabulous condition. It’s obvious this is your passion, it shines through onto your horses. We wish you all the best for the future, and look forward to the next visit. Thanks again. Rachel, VIC.
