Earlier this month two Figtree Rovers hiked 70km over 4 days across the Causeway Coastal Route of Northen Ireland for a Newcastle Rover's BPSA Hike.

Tonight we said goodbye to our beloved Aidan as he ages out and begins his next journey in Scouting
Figtree Rovers alongside the rest of SC&T at the Wollongong ANZAC Day March and Dawn Service.
Lest We Forget.
Tonight we were taken on a wild Paper Chase all around the Gong, and luckily only 2 of our teams got lost.
On the way home from Bathurst we stopped by Mitchell Ridge to go abseiling with our friends from TGW!

We went away for the weekend to see the Royal Bathurst Show and had a great time together, and stopped at the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit along the way.
Dragonskin 2024 - 'A Day Out'!!
This year we ran base 301 - Lost Languages. We had an amazing (and very tiring) weekend at Belangelo State Forest and had over 100 teams visit our base.
A massive thankyou to all the Rovers and Leaders who helped run the event, and to all the Vennies who participated.
We can't wait for next year!

Special thankyou to 1st Figtree Rovers who not only assisted with logistics of packing & transport, but also spent multiple hours packing down in the rain and then laying out all wet canvas and gazebo covers after returning home.
BRAVO to all Patrols and we hope you enjoyed the weekend!

Congrats to our very own Lachie Page in his very fancy State role as Assistant Chief Commisioner - Program
Congratulations go to Lachie Page, who has just been appointed to the role of Assistant Chief Commisioner - Program.
Lachie has been a member of Scouts NSW for 18 years, starting as a Joey Scout, and is currently a Rover Scout with 1st Figtree Rover Unit. He has held numerous roles within Scouts, particularly Rover Scouts, including as Unit Leader; Region Rover Council Chair and Region Commissioner Rover Scouts; State Rover Council Chair and State Commissioner Rover Scouts; as well as being a Leader in his Group. Lachie has also been involved with the planning and running of events, including Moots, Weekend Wide Games and Jamborette.
Professionally, Lachie is a Civil Engineer, currently working in developing and maintaining Sydney's water and wastewater network. He is also heavily involved with the NSW Rural Fire Service, where he is a Deputy Captain of his brigade.
What better way to spend Valentine's Day than a formal romantic Chickos dinner with 1st Albion Park Rovers and our new mascot Boris
