Last week, staff across Insurance House and Insurance Brands Australia participated in a charity fundraiser called Rock A Sock Day, to raise funds and awareness for our philanthropic partner, Free 3D Hands.
In support of this amazing cause that believes in a world where all people should have equal access to free assistive technology, on the 25th of October at 11am Insurance Brands Australia staff made their donations and rocked their custom Free 3D Hands socks for an hour as they went about their regular workday. This simple act spread awareness of the challenges faced by those who benefit from Free 3D Hands assistive devices. All funds raised during this event went straight to Free 3D Hands to support their incredible work.
We’re proud to announce that we raised $2,085 for Free 3D Hands through this initiative. Thank you to everyone that donated and got involved across the country.

From small beginnings in regional Victoria, we have grown from a humble broking firm to one of Australia’s leading privately-owned insurance brokerages. Our journey has seen us stay true to a simple promise, and that is to be here for our clients. It’s that simple.
Our story starts in 1983 Echuca, a Victorian town on the banks of the Murray River. Echuca was born of enterprising spirit, where the dream of a single small punt to ferry both people and goods across the Murray grew, in a few short decades, into an industrial epicentre and home of Australia's largest inland port.
Although the time of steam-driven paddleboats is now long past, there are enduring themes of a hard work, community and an ingrained entrepreneurial spirit that have taken us from a single office in Anstruther Street, Echuca that employed a modest number of staff to a network of 13 offices servicing over 30,000 clients Australia wide. Today we employ over 200 people and are well on our way to becoming Australia’s largest privately-owned insurance brokerage.
Regardless of our size or how strong we are in numbers, we haven’t changed who we are. That genuine, hardworking rural spirit of 1983 lives on in us today as we remain firmly committed to supporting individuals, SME’s & corporates with sound insurance and risk mitigation advice.
