Lots of personal best times at the first short course meet for the season in Shepparton. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to Libby also for a great meet in Bendigo today… a great day had with our friends from Mansfield and a couple of pbs to tick off too!

Perfect swimming weather at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club meet this morning.
3 pbs for Benalla’s only swimmer including a massive 7.38 sec improvement on his 100m breaststroke time. Well done Xav!

Hopefully everyone is getting excited for our meet tomorrow! We will need help setting up gazebos and chairs so if families can assist, please meet at the pool at 10.30am. Find Jo or Catherine on arrival so you can be given a job as we need to set everything up in a specific way! Many thanks in advance!

Great day out at the Kyabram Swimming Club LC meet in Echuca today. Xav was the lone representative for Benalla at this rescheduled meet (our other swimmer was unwell and we wish her a speedy recovery). Silver in the 11-12yo 100m backstroke and 4 pbs. Bring on the Benalla LC meet next Sunday.

Well done Libby and Xavier for representing our club on day 2 of the Wangaratta LC Meet and for achieving some more PBs.

It was fantastic to get back to hosting meets, with a very successful short course meet being held today. Well done to all the swimmers and thank you to all the volunteers who made today possible!

Benalla Short Course meet this Sun 10th July. Entries close tomorrow (Wed 6th July). We would love to see all our swimmers there.

Massive congratulations to our former club member Cassie who has just been drafted in the 2022 NAB AFLW for the North Melbourne Football Club…

Cassie (Cassidy Mailer) was a squad swimmer over many years and is still a familiar face around the pool during holiday times or when she’s working as a lifeguard.

Australian Junior Excellence Program | Swimming Australia Swimming Australia Nutrition Partner, Bio Island, is the official naming rights partner of the Australian Junior Excellence (JX) program which recognises performances of swimmers aged 9 – 13 to encourage and inspire the next generation of competitive swimmers.

Just a friendly reminder, that there is no senior swimming squad on Monday mornings moving forwards.

Training starts this week on Tuesday as per usual times…
