Another important aspect of goal setting is to be realistic about what you can achieve in a given time frame. It's okay to have big, long-term goals, but it's important to break them down into smaller, more manageable steps that you can work towards over time.
In addition to setting goals for yourself, it can also be helpful to enlist the support of a life coach or mentor. A life coach can help you clarify your goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and provide guidance and support along the way.
