The 2024 picks for our Writers Wanted Program!

Two talented emerging screenwriters Alina Jansons (.gracej)and Orph Both (.ph) have been selected to undergo our first iteration of the Writers Wanted Program. They will have their chosen scripts reviewed by experienced script editors and readers, one-on-one writing sessions with international screenwriter Michael Koehler, and their final script will be produced by Clarice.

We have some exciting news to announce.

We are proud to announce that we are officially opening our production company clarice would like a word. Our company has a social entrepreneurial twist. To help emerging and brand new filmmakers from underrepresented communities make high-quality work for their portfolios which could be used for future professional paid work.

We believe that everyone has a right to participate in the creative arts. In the past year in talking to peers, colleagues and students we have noticed that many are being priced out of being able to work on unpaid passion projects because of the cost of living crisis. We want to ensure that people do not have to spend money on those hidden costs; training, fuel, post-production software, festival submissions, and catering by assisting monetarily. We hope with whatever assistance we can give, another filmmaker can get their foot through the door.
