How proud is Mum of her few week old lamb. Our single birth lamb is doing really well. Getting stronger and stronger everyday.

Wish my yellow blooms were back. Can't wait to witness those gorgeous brilliant yellow roses again. Such a happy rose.

Sad news... our mummy sheep of the twins has gone to heaven and so has the smaller of the twins. However, we are now nursing the other twin lammy girl and as you can see she is enjoying the attention and nourishment. We will keep you updated on her development. A heartfelt 💖 thank you to our young caring guests who assisted us with our surviving lammy, whom they have named Cindy. 🥰

Goodness Gracious Hughey loves giving pony kisses, particularly in the late afternoon before sunset.
Hughey is our 22 year old loving Welsh Mountain Pony, who's past life was at a riding school. He now lives on our property enjoying his twilight years and giving loads of loving.

One of our favourite times of the day - Sunset lighting on Castle Rocks and the sky, It is an everchanging live show daily. 🍷🍷

Hiking Castle Rocks is so rewarding - feeling the fresh air of Munghorn Gap, getting fit walking, climbing the rocks and an amazing view at the top!

Love Autumn with its oranges, reds and yellows. What a feast for our eyes. 👀
Did you know that the NSW Central West is full of deciduous trees, and has some of the best autumn leaves in NSW?

Lambing News - Twin Lambs born to our new sheep Mum. So tiny & delicate. Will have to watch out for our resident eagles and crows. 😬

Did you know? "Ewes usually give birth to 1 to 3 lambs at each birthing event which is called lambing. Twin births is most common in well-managed flocks and with many breeds of sheep".

Our olives are sprouting!!! Yay!!! Hopefully we will get a good harvest this season.

Did you know that like all living organisms, olives have their own growth cycle – The dormant period to birth when it sprouts; Infancy where flower buds appear; Juvenile when fruit appears, Adult when the olive is ripe; Finally death at harvest.
Olives are renewable so the cycle begins again.

Thistle w**d brings an abundance of pretty purple to the landscape which look nice when in bloom but are so annoying on a property as we have discovered. They are such a noxious w**d. 😝Prickly too!!!

Missing those gorgeous purple and white agapanthus plants scattered around the property now that the flowering is over.
Did you know that the name Agapanthus is derived from the Greek word agap, meaning love💖, and anthos, meaning flower🌸, translating as the "flower of love".🌸💖

There's always a stunning sunset around the corner at Barella. The rapidly changing light fills me with curiosity.

Did you know that as the sun starts to set, it begins to lose its blue hues. Green & yellow shades turn to orange & red and by the end of the sunset, the sun looks like a blazing ball of fire. The colourful lighting over our mountains change dramatically.

These little white butterflies have been fluttering about the property amongst the bushes.
Did you know its rare to find a white butterfly that is purely white?

Saw a beautiful Purple flower whilst hiking near our property.
I think🤔 it's a Purple Pea.
Anyone got any ideas?

Eric, our resident Alpaca having a stop work meeting with his chargers.
"Alpacas are often used as herd guards and are very effective against foxes which might attack lambs or sheep that are down".

Zoe decided to take some RnR on the property during the day. Even our 4 legged friend 🐕can chill out here at Barella.🤩
