The MV Solar Rally team is heading to Buladelah this weekend. Michael will be driving with navigator Jason Fraser in the hot seat. Crew: Lois Valantine, Karen Portolan, Kirk Bendall, Phil Limbert and Graeme. The draft start list has Michael and Jason starting as Car 14. Stay tuned for rally updates tomorrow.

At the end of Stage 5 Michael and Stephen are unofficially running 16th overall and 5th in class. Unfortunately, Tim and Jordan are DNF due to engine problems following an altercation with a water crossing in Stage 2 - stay tuned, the rally is still in progress, more updates to come.

The MV Solar Rally Team have safely arrived to compete in the Amsag Rosewood Rally after a very early departure this morning for the 7 hour drive south. Michael Valantine will be driving his trusty Datsun 1600 with navigator Stephen Hodgkins. Tim Valantine is also taking the mighty Nissan Silvia out for the day with Jordan Darby navigating. Michael / Stephen are car 16 with Tim / Jordan right behind them in Car 17, Crew for the weekend will be: Phil Limbert, Kirk Bendall and Graham. Setting up is fully underway and the teams are all smiles as they prepare for a fantastic day of rally tomorrow. The sun is shining and the weather looks perfect. MV Solar is proud to have just completed an installation at the Champagnat Marist Centre for Ecology and Spirituality which was established in 2023 at Lomeri, Fiji. From the signing of the agreement with Br Chris Poppleweel until the project was completed last week - the teams in in both Australia and Fiji have been super excited to get this project underway. "The centre’s primary goal is to educate people about the threat of ecological damage looming over us all and the ways to counter it,” says Br Chris, a passionate environmental advocate. "We envision the Centre as a source of comprehensive information, particularly focusing on the origins of environmental crises and providing effective strategies to address them. This knowledge is crucial for empowering people to take meaningful action." MV Solar is proud to be part of such a fantastic initiative.

Well rally fans a great ending to a great day of rally. Michael and Erin finished first in class, with Michael also winning the Master Drivers Award. Tim Valantine was also rallying his Nissan Silvia with Erin's husband Andrew as navigator and they finished an impressive 3rd outright open. What a Day!!!!

Fine tuning occured at the MV Solar Rutherford Office this morning. and many of the MV Solar staff enjoyed their first rally preparation with the team cheered away with loads of excitement.
