This little ripper of a chick who we adore, has her game face going. Why?
She’s painted up her new board and is ready to give the NSW State Surfing Titles (junior) a crack! Let’s hope the chequered flag look gets her a few chequered flag feels! At least 1 as I miss seeing her surf Thursday so want her to make it to Saturday surfing at least! Good luck in Coffs Avalon!!!

Sometimes all that's needed to shift our reality is a little wisdom, spoken to us with gentleness and a pure heart. I came across this powerful Lakota prayer a few days ago and wanted to share it with you. I hope it helps you on your path. I know it did for me.

Lakota Prayer

Great Mystery,
teach me how to trust
my heart,
my mind,
my intuition,
my inner knowing,
the senses of my body,
the blessings of my spirit.
Teach me to trust these things
so that I may enter my Sacred Space
and love beyond my fear,
and thus Walk in Balance
with the passing of each glorious Sun.

According to certain traditions, the Sacred Space is the space between exhalation and inhalation. To Walk in Balance is to have Heaven (spirituality) and Earth (physicality) in harmony.

At the core of this timeless wisdom is the word "trust". When did we stop trusting ourselves? When did we start giving that trust, that power, away?

In many ways the healing path is a process of reestablishing that trust with the infinite that resides within us, just waiting to be activated.

A Potent Spiritual Ally

While we're discussing matters of the soul and how to access higher consciousness, there's a powerful ally that many (including myself) use regularly in meditations and rituals.

For thousands of years, essential oils have been utilized to create sacred space and relax the mind so one can fully let go.

There are a number of essential oils that you can use for this purpose, such as bergamot, cedarwood, frankincense, sandalwood and palo santo (my favorite). They can be diffused (using an oil diffuser) or simply rub a few drops in between your hands, cup them over your nose, and inhale.

Different oils evoke different sensations and "inner knowings" -- and the experience is always unique to the individual. So experiment!

Weekend WOW and After School make up magic this weekend. A great time to be alive….and surfing 🏄🏽‍♀️ 🏄🏿‍♂️ 🏄🏽

There are so many people to dance the Stars of Hastings 2024 for. So many sadly. But I chose this young man as my main star. Lewis.
Look at him smiling and loving on others as he was mid 3 brain tumours and a intensive cell kill off spanning 3-4 years of his very young adult life.
I’m so grateful he is travelling all the way from Wollongong to be at my fundraising event. He’s already preparing his speech to give amongst the canapés, dancing with Alter Ego, drinks and raffles and auctions.

7 years of service to our surf school. A natural born leader. Highly loved by so many families over so many years. None more so than Corey and myself.
The kids, the families, the men and of course the women, will all miss him.
His skill set will take him far. So excited for his adventure to surf coach in Spain (and a little teary) before the open roads of Europe become home for a while.
Luckily his sisters and all of us in the surf school will shine on. But Europe claim one bright star this week. Thank you for all you’ve brought to so many lives here in Port. Have fun Kayle and enjoy the ride. In and out of the water 🌊 🏄🏿‍♂️ 💚
