Jamie Harrison's off-road racing career has only just begun, showing promise with impressive results at the TATTS FINKE DESERT RACE.
Eager to continue his success, he entered the KEMPSEY 300 race.
The weekend started on a high note as he qualified 3rd outright.
However, his hopes were dashed when a broken 4WD gearbox output shaft prematurely ended his weekend race.

Jamie Harrison is currently in 5th place in his class at the prestigious TATTS FINKE DESERT RACE. Congratulations, Jamie! We are thrilled for your success and eagerly anticipating what day 2 of the race will bring. Keep up the great work!

Introducing Jamie Harrison, a trailblazing individual who has set out to become the first paraplegic driver to take on the Tatts Finke Desert Race in the automobile division. This ambitious goal comes just a few years after a life-altering motorcycle accident at Finke.

With the support of key partners such as KMC Wheels, Evolution Powersports, KWI Clutching, black diamond powder coating and Shoreline Seadoo, Jamie embarked on this challenging journey. Together, they worked tirelessly to prepare a competitive buggy for the race.

Jamie's initial performance in the prologue was impressive, finishing 16th in class and only 36 seconds behind the leader. This achievement is particularly remarkable considering it was his first real experience driving the car after extensive preparation.

The anticipation is high as we eagerly await the outcome of Jamie's participation in the Finke race. With determination, skill, and unwavering support, Jamie is poised to make a significant impact in this demanding competition.

Here is a comprehensive update on the current situation at UTV SURGERY:

Unfortunately, due to sustaining injuries (breaking both wrists) while riding a couple of weeks ago, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to attend FINKE 2024. This has made it impossible for us to support our customers at the event and has necessitated a period of healing.

However, we are now shifting our focus towards preparing and building the best CANAM MAVERICK R for the 2025 season. We are excited about this new project and are dedicated to delivering an exceptional vehicles for the upcoming season.

GREAT WEEKEND RACING at the Gnarly ZOOM’S CUP 240.

-UTV SURGERY team NOTT OFFROAD RACING took 1st in class and 3rd OUTRIGHT.

-UTV SURGERY team BLACK DIAMOND POWDER COATING RACING was doing really good until an inlet boot split and an undetermined mechanical issue force them to DNF.

We also would like to give a shoot out to TAIT FREIGHT RACING.
Andrew just purchased The old UTV SURGERY CANAM X3, and raced it for the first time on the weekend.
They were also doing well and learning when they hit a stump on last lap and got a flat tyre.
